Announcing PrestaShop e-Commerce Integration

If you run an e-commerce store using PrestaShop, we’ve got great news for you. We’ve built a plug-in that exports your e-commerce customers to your GetResponse email marketing list, so you can add them to email campaigns and start building great relationships.

PrestaShop is an open source shopping cart platform that enables you to build and manage e-stores.

It contains a rich feature set to make it easy to run your shop profitably. Features include catalogue management, SEO, loyalty programs and thousands of add-ons and plug-ins that enable automatic data transfer between popular business software platforms.

Our new GetResponse plug-in for PrestaShop is easy to install, set up, and start using. In minutes you can begin sending your customers targeted, engaging email offers.

If you wish, you can import all new PrestaShop contacts at registration, capturing name and email address. Or if you prefer, you can import only those who make a purchase, and capture mailing address fields and date of birth.

Either way, the API adds a new custom field “ref: PrestaShop” for easy list segmentation based on contact source.

Installation and setup is super easy. The plug-in is available for download here, and if you need help, follow the steps here.

Once installed, just start sending your customers timely, relevant email offers. The GetResponse Email Marketing Tips Blog is filled with tips and ideas on how to create campaigns that boost engagement and sales.

If you’d like to integrate your email marketing program with other business platforms, visit the GetResponse App Center. You’ll certainly find tons of great ideas.

And if you don’t see what you’re looking for – just give us a shout, and we’ll build it for you

New Integration: Zapier

We’ve just integrated with an unusual service — an integration that makes it easy to… create your own integrations. With a few clicks you can now connect GetResponse with services such as Gmail, Basecamp, Evernote and dozens of apps listed in

Zapier is an easy way to get two selected apps to talk to each other. How? A specified trigger in one app causes a specified action in another app.

The directory of apps you can zap keeps growing, and GetResponse has just joined the list.

GetResponse can be integrated with any app in the Zapier directory. You can set up zaps in two ways:

1. Use a trigger inside GetResponse to create a desired action in another app.

For example, let’s say you want to automatically send an email from your Gmail account, or add a new user in Zendesk or send a text message to a mobile phone.

You can choose one of those actions then make it happen whenever your GetResponse account adds a new contact, or you create a campaign, or you send a newsletter.

Just use Zapier to pick a trigger and pick an action:

When you’re happy with the way the trigger and action work together, click to create the Zap:

2. Use a trigger in another app to cause an action in GetResponse.

What happens when you receive a new email in your Gmail inbox or a new follower on Twitter? Now you can trigger a new contact to be added to a specified campaign in your GetResponse account.

Note: Because we use double-optin confirmation, the new contact always receives a confirmation email.

After you’ve created your zap, make sure you configure both sides — the trigger side and the action aside, add any filters you want use then don’t forget to test it.

And, of course, put it to work for you. It’s all click-and-drag simple.

So if you haven’t used Zapier before, go ahead and give it a try, integrating your GetResponse account with an app of your choice.

Which apps do you plan to integrate with GetResponse? Let us know in the comments!
