3 Free Tools for Creating Your Own Infographics

One way to communicate a large sum of data and information is to create an infographic — a visual representation of a group of data points. Because they’re composed of images, you can see the information at a glance. In business, they’re commonly used to share information collected in a survey but they have many other uses.

Business owners can use an infographic to compare products, map sales or simply entertain your customers. You can use them to show work-flow, financial data or explain employee bonuses — it’s limited only by your imagination. 

But without serious graphic skills, isn’t creating an infographic a lot of work? Or, wouldn’t it cost a ton of money to have someone else make it for you? It doesn’t have to. Here are three sites that can help even the most design-challenged person build an infographic, free of charge:

This free tool has six layouts to help you get started. You can insert your data into each of Infogr.am’s pre-set boxes, or you can delete or add boxes. Choose from more than a dozen graphic options, add text boxes, photos, maps or even video. Finished infographics can be instantly shared though social media or use the embed code to place it on your own website.

2. Piktochart
Piktochart starts with only three free themes but don’t let that discourage you. Its customizable editor allows you to change color schemes, fonts, add basic shapes, pre-loaded graphics and your own, uploaded images. The template has grid lines to help you line items up evenly and resize images on the fly. For more customization options and 100 templates, you can upgrade to Piktochart Pro for $29 per month.

3. Easel.ly
With Easel.ly you start with one of a dozen free templates or begin with a blank canvas. You can remove any object on a template and replace it with modern graphics from 10 categories including people, transportation, animals and icons. There are also common shapes, connector lines and arrows.

Upload your own graphics, clone and position graphics with a single touch, use the grid for a perfect layout and change the color of any item on the page. Customize the text with a collection of fonts, text styles, sizes and colors. The finished infographic can be downloaded or shared with a link or embed code.

Tools I Use

Internet Marketing Resources – Tools that you’ll need for your business.
These are some of the resources that I use in my online business. Some are free, others are not. You can assume that most of the links to the resources that need to be purchased are affiliate links, and I may make a commission off of the sale. I do only recommend ones that I personally use, or that people I know well have rated highly.

Domain name registers:

The one that I personally use is NameCheap.
I find that they have very good pricing, and it’s easy to
navigate around their site.

Webhosting:

The two most popular with marketers are:

Ok. Now you need something to build your Sales Pages and Lead Capture Pages, Thank You Pages etc. My all time favourite is Optimizepress as it is very versatile and easy to set up for all your needs

Autoresponders:
Now if you want to build a list you need to have an autoresponder which is used to collect emails and also send out email messages automatically.

Aweber is probable the most used in the industry and once you set up your first list the rest becomes very easy. You can try it out for only $1 the first month.

I personally like to use get Response as i find it is a little bit more user friendly.

The two best paid options are:
Camtasia.
A free option is Jing which is made by the same people that made Camtasia. The video length is limited to 5 minutes, but that is plenty of time to get your idea across. That is a good start to things that you might need.

I also use a system called Power Lead System. This system is really awesome as it is a lead capture system and an autoresponder all in one. The greatest thing is that leaders in my business can set up a sales funnel and then share it with me. Also another great place to learn about traffic is the Traffic Masters Academy. This is a course consiting of a number of video tutorials put together by Mobe Affiliates who between them have generated over $5.5 Million in Commissions. Check it out here.

1. Advertise an event. Facebook events appear as destinations that you can select in the “design your ad” section of the ads manager. You can target the advertising for your event just like any other ad. They are simple, powerful guided missiles.

Once people confirm that they are “attending,” Facebook does all the work required to remind them of the event. An event is a great way to engage your user in additional conversations. And events don’t fatigue — they happen.

Even better, if people commit on Facebook to attending your event, Facebook gives high priority to the messages reminding them to attend. You can invite your existing friends to attend your event free in limited size groups. You can advertise to your existing fans to attend your event for very little money. Do both.

2. Start an “ask campaign.” When you run out of things to talk about, see if your visitors have something they want to talk about. Allow them to initiate the next conversation.

Simply ask your fans, “What is the one question you would most like to ask an expert?” Then let them tell you what’s on their minds. To make the campaign more interesting, launch a live event, such as a free webinar, where you will answer the most common and most interesting questions.

An ask campaign is designed to reconnect you to your target audience. Learn the questions they want to ask. Then be, or find, the expert to answer their questions. The questions your fans ask will contain marketing terms you can use in your next ads.

Set up a form to capture the questions they would most like to ask an expert. Every question they ask is the source of a potential new ad.
